The Bowers Lab is a multidisciplinary cognitive neuroscience research laboratory involved in the study of cognitive and affective behaviors in humans and the neural systems that underlie them. Research methods include neuroimaging, psychophysiology, TMS, cognitive studies, and impact of focal brain lesions or neurologic diseases on memory (amnesia), affective behavior and emotion, and cognitive processing. Participants include patients with epilepsy, focal resections and strokes, Parkinson’s disease, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia, and major depressive disorder
